You can repair some apps and programs if they're not running correctly. Note that you won't see repair, change, or modify options for all apps and programs.

Repair options from the Settings page

  1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Or just click the shortcut link at the bottom of this article.

  2. Select the app you want to fix.

  3. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.

  3. Cant download apps or games on the windows store for a month or so. Tried numerous trouble shooting online like clearing the cache and other methods but no luck please help! Moved from: Windows / Apps on Windows 10 / Other Windows apps / Games.
  4. I have an older 16bit MS-DOS program that runs just fine on Windows 7 and Windows 8, 32 bit of course. It will not run when these same machines are updated to Windows 10 (also 32 bit).

Repair options from the Control Panel

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and select it from the results.

  2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.
